CMMI® An Official Introduction
CMMI® (Capability Maturity Model® Integration) models are collections of best practices that help organizations to improve their processes.
The CMMI® for Development model provides a comprehensive integrated set of guidelines for developing products and services as well as an appraisal framework allowing an organization to benchmark and continually improve its development activities. The focus is on the activities for developing quality products and services to meet the needs of customers and end users.
The Official Introduction course is a prerequisite requirement to attend additional SEI courses and to be a member of a ‘CMMI-DEV SCAMPI A’ (official) appraisal team.
